Adding Licenses
IssueView licenses are 'dedicated' licenses. A license is required for
each IssueView user. With an Enterprise license, and you can create an unlimited number of User IDs
on a single SQL Server. If you need to purchase additional licenses, you can do so
here.
Database Options
Most people use IssueView with their own SQL Server instance.
You can download IssueView with an MS Access database, or Microsoft's SQL
Server Express (a free SQL Server runtime). You can use either database
with any license. SQL Server Express supports databases up to 4 GB, and a
large number of users. If you ever make it to the 4 GB limit, you can
easily upgrade to a full SQL Server license.
Upgrades and Maintenance releases
Bug fixes and maintenance releases are always free. Thus, if you purchased
version 6.0, you'll get 6.1, 6.2 etc. for free. When a Major Release
(e.g., 6.4 to 7.0) comes out, every one who purchased in the last 6 months gets
it for free! Existing customers, who purchased more than 6 months
ago, can upgrade to the next major
release for 50% of the current price. Thus, if you purchased the Version
6.x Enterprise Edition for $2,500, once Version 7.0 is out, you can purchase it
for $1,250 (assuming that the price for the Enterprise Edition remains $2,500).

completely satisfied, just return the software within 30 days, and we'll issue
you a full refund.
